United Nations Audio Visual Library of International Law
Scholarly Writings in International Law
Resources
The United Nations, in cooperation with HeinOnline, is pleased to make available to the users of the United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law a collection of scholarly writings to promote a better understanding of international law around the world, particularly in developing countries and smaller developed countries, which may have limited access to international law libraries. The scholarly writings are arranged in the alphabetical order of the Faculty members who have contributed to the Research Library. The writings listed under the name of each Faculty member are organized as follows: a collection of selected publications on various subjects written by the faculty member; publications relating to a legal instrument in the Historic Archives recommended by the faculty member; and publications relating to a lecture in the Lecture Series recommended by the faculty member. Those publications which are available on HeinOnline, and for which permission has been received, are accessible in full-text format. No full-text is available for those publications which are either not available on HeinOnline or for which permission to distribute over the Audiovisual Library has not been obtained. Separate lists are also provided for scholarly writings organized according to the categories and titles of legal instruments in the Historic Archives and the subject matter and titles of the lectures in the Lecture Series. Access to a further collection of selected classic publications in international law is further provided (in full-text format).
The following is a pilot version of this enhanced feature of the Audiovisual Library of International Law web site. The entries for each contributor and section will be added progressively over time, as will links to the full-text versions of articles and books as permission is obtained.
